COMMUNITY KITCHEN
Once a month, our Community Kitchen brings people and families together to reconnect with food as a source of nourishment, culture, and environmental awareness. Using ingredients from our garden and local producers, we explore traditional cuisine while learning about responsible sourcing and seasonal eating.
From working with local fishermen to collaborating with chefs from Hotel El Ganzo, each session highlights the importance of respecting natural resources and reducing waste. This initiative promotes sustainable cooking, food security, and a deeper understanding of the ecosystems that feed us—strengthening community through shared meals and knowledge.
MOVEMENT for woman
Guided by a holistic vision of health, we offer movement classes for women that reconnect the body with nature and natural rhythms. These sessions encourage physical wellbeing while fostering awareness of how movement, breath, and environment are deeply intertwined.
By creating space for strength, balance, and presence, we support women in building healthier lifestyles that are not only beneficial for themselves, but rooted in a more conscious and sustainable way of living.
NUTRITION AND READING
Our Nutrition and Reading Program supports children’s development by linking nourishment, education, and environmental awareness. In partnership with Escuela Pública Campeche, we provide a safe and supportive space where children receive balanced meals while learning about healthy habits and the origins of their food.
Through activities like edible gardening, art, and workshops with local artists, children develop a deeper understanding of their relationship with nature. Alongside literacy and writing support, this program nurtures both cognitive growth and ecological awareness—laying the foundation for more conscious future generations.
Learning gardens
Our Learning Gardens program cultivates a hands-on connection with the land, teaching residents how to grow, care for, and harvest their own food in sustainable ways. Through practical education in gardening, nutrition, and environmental stewardship, participants gain tools to nourish themselves while respecting natural cycles.
By donating edible gardens to public schools, we extend this knowledge to younger generations—planting seeds of autonomy, responsibility, and long-term sustainability within the community.
